We Have A New Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle Champion!

After a month of consuming pounds of beef patties and endless sides of fries, the 11h Annual Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle has a new champion.

Over 32,000 votes were recorded in this year's friendly downtown competition. A record number of 37 Sioux Falls restaurants showcased their creative and tasty burgers. But who came out on top?

The new champion of the 11h Annual Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle is........Crawford's with The Gold Standard Burger! This is the second year in a row the popular restaurant and bar won the coveted award.

So what's on the award-winning The Gold Standard? A bunch of good stuff!

6 oz. Prime beef patty, jalapeno bacon, boursin cheese, peppadew jam, crispy onion straws, home-made rosemary ginger pickles, and arugula tossed with spicy vinaigrette served on ciabatta crusted with smoked mozzarella cheese served with house fried rosemary chips.

YUM!! This burger sounds amazing! Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to visit Crawford's this year. But now my fiancé and I have an excuse for another date night! Just in time for Valentine's Day.

Eating 37 burgers in one month is a big task for anyone to accomplish. Luckily, my co-worker Jeff Harkness and I teamed up this year to scout as many burgers as we could. As a team, we were able to around 20 burgers. The best part? All the burgers we sampled were unique. No two burgers were alike.
