2024 Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle: Swamp Daddy’s [Review]

The new year ushers in a brand-new list of contenders for the Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle, with a record 37 entrants in 2024.

The latest to hit my taste buds is the Boss Hog Burger from Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen.

It's billed as:

'A Toasted cornbread bun with a compound butter, garlic honey aioli topped with a blend of beef, short rib, and brisket, andouille okra queso, smoked Tasso, and whisky jalapeño battered onions rings with lettuce and tomato drizzled with hot honey.'

Sounds ambitious. right?

But as I have learned after trying Swamp Daddy's Burger Battle entries in the past, nobody takes more chances with more success than they do.

From the uniqueness of the cornbread bun to the meat trio to the combination of the various spices, it all works!
