Something new is coming to the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds this year, and it has nothing to do with rides or concerts, fair officials are rolling out a curfew policy for younger attendees.
Falls Park gets all the attention, and for good reason, but there are some quieter, lesser-known spots within an hour or two of Sioux Falls that contain waterfalls and are well worth the drive.
You can just hear Clark Griswold saying, "Okay kids, who wants to see the Tallest Ear of Corn in the world, which is just a short hour and fifteen minutes away from Sioux Falls?"
