On The Road Again…To USA University

A few days ago, I returned to the KXRB Morning Show after a short road trip to the Twin Cities.  There were a lot of new experiences my friend Miranda and I had, such as visiting the Mall of America, going to a concert in a new city, and getting out of a parking garage (haha). That one is a story for another day.  One of my favorite road trips experiences was visiting different colleges and universities.

Exploring colleges can be an exciting and surreal experience.  It's exciting because you're about to make new friends, have more responsibilities, and more.  At the same time, it could be scary because you're figuring out what you want to do in life.

I am lucky that I was going through this process with my sister.  Our mom was with us every step of the way to make sure we asked the right questions and determine what school would be the best fit for us.  It was like a mini vacation as well because we visited different college towns.  My sister did this not too long ago when she was visiting veterinary schools.

We made a lot of memories on these trips.  Our listeners on KXRB have also been on a few road trips, like traveling to California, Little Rock, and Lake Tahoe.  What is your favorite road trip or road trip memory?
