Minnesota Candy Store Warns Drivers About Cops Hiding Behind Sign
Minnesota's Largest Candy Store sign warns that cops are waiting to ambush speeders and write them tickets. But what's on the backside of the sign is hilarious!
If you've ever driven Minnesota highway 169 from the south on your way to Jordan or the Twin Cities you've passed by Minnesota's Largest Candy Store.
You can't miss it! It's the giant yellow complex just south of Jordan that is filled with the most candy and other Minnesota stuff you have ever seen.
Also known as Jim’s Apple Farm it is a family-owned business open from mid-May through November.
They are closed now for the winter but will be opening up on Mother's Day weekend.
As they say on their website “We have all sorts of fun products. From hard-to-find nostalgic sweets, fresh-baked pies, and strudels, the world’s largest selection of sodas, a large variety of popcorn, pastas, jams, jellies, pickles products, meats, cheeses, puzzles, and other products raised or made locally by surrounding farms.”
And the folks at Minnesota's Largest Candy Store have a great sense of humor too.
Recently on the front of their big yellow sign, they posted what seemed to tip drivers off that they should “SLOW DOWN THERE IS A COP HIDING BEHIND THIS SIGN!”
Then sure enough as you'd drive by you'd see on the backside of the structure a Scott County Sheriff's car lying in wait and posted on the big sign “SHHHHH I'M WAITING FOR A SPEEDER”
