Sioux Falls is full of unique opportunities whether you're a college graduate looking for a job or an entrepreneur.  But Sioux Falls also attracts athletes from all over, including professional golfers for the Sanford International.

In its second year, the Sanford International is part of the PGA Champions Tour.  Golf legends like Darren Clarke, Vijay Singh, and John Daly made the trip to the Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls to compete with the best in the game.  Not only did spectators witness some of the best players in the world, but they also had the "golden" opportunity to see Jack Nicklaus play 9-holes with other golf icons, like Andy North, in the EMC Legend Series.

The inaugural Sanford International made a huge impact on the city, so organizers wanted to enhance the spectator experience. For example, the tournament created the "College Corner" right along the 16th green.  College students with a valid Student ID were granted free admission to the tournament on Friday through Sunday.  Not only did they have access to the College Corner, but their wristbands also granted them free grounds access, food and beverage, and discounted beer for students over 21.  Other spectator destinations included the Sanford Children's Play Zone, new concession bars and stands by the 1st green in The Ranch, and Club Cambria added 2,000 sq. feet to their location along the 18th green.

Sanford International organizers also introduced the Interactive App to keep up to date on scoring, location on the course, and the nearest concessions and restrooms.  The app even allowed you to purchase tickets, see the schedule of events, parking information, and tee times.

The 2020 Sanford International is already set for September 7th through the 13th at the Minnehaha Country Club.   Mark your calendars and start preparing for another big PGA event!
