Greetings From Finland!
We are very fortunate at KXRB to have dedicated listeners from all over the country, and now from across the Atlantic Ocean in Northern Europe!
Just last week, we received an email from Jarmo Patala and Vesa Rinkinen all the way from Finland! They are AM Radio hobbyists from Southern Finland, and they successfully received our radio signal!
They explain in their email, "Every year in winter season we travel up to Lapland, the northernmost province of Finland. This area is ideal for catching fascinating long-distance AM radio signals like yours. Our tentative reception of KXRB took place on 1140 kHz AM on February 1, 2018, at 6:13 p.m. Central Standard Time. We heard your station break in between the country songs:
'KXRB Real Country Variety. Hi, there I'm Dan Peters ... great country variety with Toby Keith and Tim McGraw...' "
