And thanks to a recent list of the Top 100 Small Towns in the U.S. With Under 10,000 Residents, the rest of the country is now well aware of just how special small-town South Dakota actually is.
Not only did two South Dakota towns make the top 100 list, but one even cracked the top 10.

Deadwood (Number 28): Population 1,302
