South Dakota is no stranger to the national media spotlight. In recent years, our state has been the punchline for late-night television hosts and various comedians.

Since his re-election, talks about carving the face of President Donald Trump on South Dakota's beloved monument, Mount Rushmore, have continued. Now, Jimmy Kimmel of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show is asking his audience their opinions. You won't believe some of these answers!

READ MORE: New Bill Introduced to Add Trump to South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore

During one of his shows late last week, Jimmy Kimmel asked the public on the streets of California their thoughts on whether President Trump should be immortalized on South Dakota's Mount Rushmore.

Surprisingly...almost everyone in the video is all for Trump being on Mount Rushmore. But these people also couldn't say which notable presidents were on Mount Rushmore already. Check out this unbelievable (and kind of funny) Facebook video from Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Some people thought Andrew Jackson was on Mount Rushmore, and others thought Alexander Hamilton was engraved on the historic landmark...he wasn't even president!

Here are some of their hilarious answers:

Question: Who would you replace Trump with?

If I had to pick one of them....probably Andrew Jackson. I feel like out of the four he's probably the least well-known.

Question: What did Lincoln really accomplish anyway and why is he up on Mount Rushmore?

Uh...I have no clue to be real.

I don't remember too much, but I do know that he did have slaves. I do know he was with like oh....the abolishment of slaves and stuff so I do like that. I think the abolishment of slaves and stuff is good.

Question: What state is Mount Rushmore in? (Here we go...)

That's in North Dakota.

Washington?

Wyoming.

Nevada.

It's a mountain in Colorado.
