
Local South Dakota Police Need Help Finding Missing Texas Woman
It's not often that South Dakota is involved in a missing persons case in the state of Texas. However, a small rural city out west known for outlaws could be part of the biggest mystery in this ongoing investigation.
Molly Richards from Corinth, Texas, was reported missing in early December of 2025. She was last seen in the "Old West Town" of Deadwood.

This is a unique situation for the Deadwood Police Department. Officials with the department shared the alert in a Facebook post.
What Was a Missing Texas Woman Doing In South Dakota?
Details are limited on Molly Richards' disappearance and why she was in South Dakota. From the looks of the Facebook post, it seems like the City of Deadwood is a big part of Molly Richards' story.
The Deadwood Police Department is asking for the publics assistance in attempting to locate Molly Richards. Molly Richards was reported missing in Corinth, Texas, in the beginning of December of 2025. Molly was said to be last seen around the area of downtown Main Street sometime before December 8, 2025.
There aren't any further details about what happened to Molly after December 8th. It's possible that Molly Richards could still be in South Dakota, especially in the Deadwood area.
No matter what the circumstances are, Molly's family and friends in Texas are worried about her and her well-being.
