
Widespread Severe Storms Expected Monday in Minnesota
Severe storms could be having a major impact on Minnesotans come Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a moderate risk of "Long-Lived" storms with a chance of high intensity. The NWS is also predicting that there will be "multiple rounds" of severe storms throughout the day. The worst of these are most likely in the afternoon.
"All modes of severe weather are expected - large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes."

Here's what NOAA has to say about these upcoming storms on Monday:
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Moderate Risk (4 of 5) of severe storms for portions of southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, including portions of the Twin Cities Metro. There will be multiple rounds, beginning as early as Monday morning. The strongest storms are expected in the afternoon, with the threat ending by mid-evening. All modes of severe weather are expected - large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes, a few strong. The greatest risk for tornadoes will be Monday afternoon and early evening. Now is the time to prepare! Ensure you have multiple ways to receive warnings, determine your safe places to shelter, and have a communication plan.

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 7am. Some of the storms could be severe. South southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Monday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could be severe. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts.
