It’s Your Time To Shine Dr. Katie!

We always talk about following our dreams and setting goals for ourselves in life.  But very few decide to pursue those dreams and take a leap of faith.  My twin sister, Katie is one of these people who never gave up on her dream to be a veterinarian.  Now, she starts her journey at the Univerisity of Illinois.

Katie has never changed her mind about her career.  She would eat, sleep, and breathe animals all the time.  She watched every show on Animal Planet, and she never missed an opportunity to go to the zoo. She still does this years later.

I talk a lot about my family on the show because I am proud of who I am and where I'm from.  My family has always been there for me.  It's Katie's turn to be in the spotlight for a little while.

Katie, I am so proud of you.  You spent long hours studying, and you maintained your focus.  The way you get excited about animals is how I feel about turning on the microphone.   You are going to be an amazing agricultural veterinarian!
