Mental health awareness is more important now than ever. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) of South Dakota is hosting a fundraising effort this Monday (January 26) to support mental health resources across the Sioux Empire.

Suicide remains the 11th leading cause of death in the U.S., claiming the lives of nearly 50,000 Americans every year. Thanks to ongoing community support, AFSP has made a lasting impact in Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas, providing hope to those experiencing mental health crises and their families.

This Monday’s fundraiser at the Attic Bar & Grill East will help AFSP continue this mission. Throughout the day, 10% of all sales will be donated to the organization to help bring hope to those affected by suicide.
