Post Malone and Jelly Roll hit the stage at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa this weekend. But before he got in front of the crowd, it looks like Post Malone had to make a quick run to the local Walmart store.

Walmart shoppers on South Duff in Ames, Iowa had to do a double take while going through their grocery list. A new report from KCCI News 8 in Des Moines, Iowa had a chance to talk with some shoppers about this unique encounter. It really was Post Malone!

What Was Post Malone Shopping for At The Local Ames, Iowa Walmart?

There were a couple of rumors circling saying that Post Malone was shopping for Nerf guns. Why? Who knows maybe to beat this Midwest heat wave.

I talked with Stacy Grams and she said Post Malone was "so nice," and is just a normal guy. She also mentioned that he could have been shopping for flowers.

Just shopping like it was another day. When I actually approached him he was with a lady friend looking and fresh flowers. Nobody was around him. Lol i couldn't believe it. I told him thank u for shopping at Walmart as it was so cool to see him just being an average guy

According the story from KCCI News 8, it looks like Post Malone also made an appearance at the local Cinemark movie theater in Ames on Thursday, July 16th.

I think it's pretty neat he went to different places supporting our businesses. That's Post Malone.

That's really cool to know that someone like him would actually go to Walmart and then take time to have his pictures taken with fans. Post Malone is really a good person
