Bond Set in 2 Counties for Roslyn Attempted Murder Suspect
ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — A man accused in a shooting in Roslyn and a chase with law officers that followed has had bond set in two counties.
Forty-four-year-old Jason Lewandowski, of Roslyn, faces a $250,000 cash bond in Day County on charges of attempted murder and burglary and a $20,000 bond in Brown County on an aggravated eluding charge.
Lewandowski appeared in court in Aberdeen Monday but didn't enter a plea. His attorney didn't immediately respond to an Associated Press request for comment Tuesday.
Authorities allege Lewandowski entered Jeremy Hendrickson's home and shot him in the head Friday night, then led police on a high-speed chase. He was arrested after officers subdued him with a stun gun.
The American News reports that Hendrickson is in critical condition in a Fargo, North Dakota, hospital.
