A South Dakota family and local police are in need of help right now. There is a teenager missing and he could be anywhere.

The Aberdeen Police Department say 15-year-old Dayton Laverdure of Aberdeen, South Dakota has not been seen since Saturday, May 9th. He disappeared the day before Mother's Day.

Details of Dayton Laverdure's disappearance are limited at this time. The South Dakota Missing Persons website has the latest information about Dayton. Just a quick note: Their report indicates Dayton might have been missing since Thursday, May 7th.

Additionally in a Facebook post from the Aberdeen Police Department, officials gave information about where Dayton was last seen and what he was wearing.

Dayton was last seen on Saturday, May 9, at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the 700 block of N. State St. in Aberdeen. He was last seen wearing a black Nike sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Dayton is described as 6’1” tall, approximately 170 pounds, with brown eyes and short sandy brown hair.
