Sleep Apnea.

It's a real problem for a lot of people. It's a disorder in which the muscles of the throat fail to keep the airways open during sleep. And trouble sleeping affects you the rest of the day. With your sleep constantly being disrupted, well you're never at full steam throughout your work day.

Often times, people are told to lose weight, shed some pounds, and that may ease their symptoms. And now, researchers are suggesting going a specific step farther.

Lose some of that tongue fat.

That's right, tongue fat. But how do you do that??

Well, there's not really an easy way. I mean, there aren't specific exercises to pinpoint tongue fat reduction. (now that I think about it, I'm not sure I've ever said 'tongue fat' before).

However, overall body weight loss does include the tongue. So, while you can't specifically lose just the tongue fat, it should reduce some, along with the rest of your body weight.

And that could help.

But apparently wagging your tongue more won't reduce that tongue fat. So keep on hitting the gym and best of luck on improving your sleep!
