New ‘South Park’ Episode Humiliates Former South Dakota Governor
Normally, when South Dakota makes national headlines, it's pretty exciting for our state. Now, South Dakota is a topic for a popular comedy series. But for all the wrong reasons.
The sitcom South Park is not afraid to call out any celebrities or politicians in its episodes. The 27th season of the series is underway, and the latest episode highlights Former South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.

The now Secretary of Homeland Security is no stranger to the limelight, whether it's good or bad. However, this latest episode from South Park could be the biggest embarrassment in Secretary Noem's political career.
Parts of the new South Park episode talk about people joining ICE, and Kristi Noem makes an appearance in the orientation video. The video mentions the mission of ICE, and how Secretary Noem "does what's hard and inspires the new recruits at ICE." This includes her decision to put down her 14-month-old wirehair pointer named Cricket. This storyline in her book caused a lot of reactions and disappointment from dog owners across the nation. And yes, South Park even pointed out Noem's recent...enhancements.
So What Was Kristi Noem's Reaction To Her Moment on South Park?
According to multiple reports, including on the Glenn Beck podcast, Secretary Noem views this takedown as "petty" and "lazy."
"I just think it's...um...yeah, it never ends. But it's so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. Only the liberals and the extremists do that.”
Kristi Noem has not seen the episode.
