Man Sneaks Through Dog Door, Slices Officer’s Nose During Struggle
Authorities took a 50 year old man into custody on a protection order violation after he gained entrance to a residence through a dog door.
When police responded and attempted to apprehend him, the suspect used his pocket knife to cut an officer's nose.
The call came into police on Monday (November 27) at 11:45 PM when the victim, who had taken a protection order out on the suspect, noticed his vehicle in her driveway in the 1900 block of South Jefferson Avenue.
Peter Thompson was taken into custody after a taser was used to apprehend him. Thompson was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, burglary, DWI and violation of a protection order.
