One of the great ladies of country music celebrates her birthday on Monday (7/24). Pam Tillis has 60 candles to blow out.

Pam don't feel bad, I'm right behind you. We thank Pam for the fabulous music she has produced over her career.

Pam was born in Florida and grew up in Nashville. Her father, Mel Tillis, is a country music legend.

Pam first performed at the Grand Ole Opry when she was 8 years old. By age 12, she taught herself how to play guitar.

She fashioned a career of her own with a series of hits in the 1990's. The first big chart song was "Don't Tell Me What To Do".
