Jimmy Fallon Roasts Iowa Congressman for Yoda Impression at Trump Rally
The same night that the state of South Dakota was getting a shoutout on Saturday Night Live, Donald Trump was making a campaign stop in neighboring Iowa and as is often the case at a Trump rally, things were anything but boring.
But it wasn't the former President providing the memorable moment, Saturday (November 18) in Fort Dodge, Iowa. That distinction belonged to third-term Iowa State Representative Mike Sexton (R - District 10).
The Fort Dodge congressman, in what was most likely the biggest moment of his political career, decided to pull out all the stops during his speech welcoming Trump to the stage.
That included working in an impression of legendary Jedi Master Yoda from the Star Wars movies.
That bizarre moment left a lot of people scratching their heads, including the host of NBC's Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon, who addressed it during Monday's (November 20) monologue (go to the 2:53 mark in the video):
As Yoda himself might say "Unsee that, you can't".
