In this edition of our weekly ag interview, I'm speaking with Kari Hernandez, Global Head of Carbon Operations and Offer Marketing at Indigo Ag. Kari leads operations strategy, grower experience strategy, offer marketing, product launch operations, ag partnerships, and operations management.

Indigo Ag is an agricultural technology company whose aim is to improve yields of corn, soybeans, rice, and other crops. Its mission is to improve grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health through the use of natural microbiology and digital technologies.

According to its website, just last year, the company launched Indigo Carbon, a program that pays growers to reduce on-farm emissions, remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and improve soil health. Kari updated us on how this program got started and what the future looks like for it.
