This was a difficult decision for Lindsey of True Care Family Pharmacy. The pharmacy was located off East 10th Street in Sioux Falls.

True Care Family Pharmacy has been part of this community for almost seven years. In the end, the owner Lindsey of True Care Family Pharmacy had to do what is best for their health and family going forward:

Being a small business owner is a difficult and lonely journey. On top of that, being the owner of an independent pharmacy has turned into fighting a losing battle. Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) have caused this environment by not paying independent pharmacies appropriately and creating an unlevel playing field. This has become brutally stressful and has had a negative impact on both my physical and mental health. I have come to the realization that I need to make a life change for both myself and my two amazing boys

Any prescription information will be automatically transferred and available at the East 10th Street Hy-Vee on Thursday, May 16th. The East 10th Street Hy-Vee is located at 3020 East 10th Street in Sioux Falls.

It's never easy to see any Sioux Falls business close down. Small businesses matter!

Thanks for the wonderful memories, True Care Family Pharmacy!

See Some of Sioux Falls' Beautiful Murals [PHOTOS]

I was in Canton, SD, and I happened upon a new mural.

It was really cool and that got me thinking that I know of a few murals in Sioux Falls, but I bet there's more than I realize. So, I put it out on social media for the people of Sioux Falls to tell me where all the murals are!

A few of them I had never seen, or never even been to that part of town, and a few of them, I drive by all the time and never noticed!

I know a few businesses have murals inside their establishments, but I decided to keep it to murals that are totally open for the public to see. No need to be 21!

So, here we go! Let's check out some of Sioux Falls' murals.
Did I miss one? Let me know!

Meet 4 South Dakota- Born Super Scientists

South Dakota has produced its share of famous people over the years. Actors like January Jones and Catherine Bach. Media personalities like Bob Barker and Tom Brokaw. Athletes like Brock Lesnar and Chad Greenway. And don't forget Laura Ingalls Wilder.

But, I want to talk about scientists. The super scientists that South Dakota has produced. Here are four that were born in South Dakota. Their work was important to nuclear physics, computer science, and agriculture; and affects us to this day.
