Yankton County Man Dies in Weekend ATV Accident

YANKTON, S.D. (AP) — An all-terrain vehicle accident over the weekend killed a 64-year-old Yankton County man.

The sheriff's office says 64-year-old Terry Turner died after his four-wheeler landed on top of him while he was riding late Saturday or early Sunday.

Lt. Clint Clites tells the Daily Press & Dakotan that Turner's roommates found him on Sunday afternoon and arranged to meet emergency officials near Yankton. Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.
