Wife of Missing Sioux Falls Man Speaks Out After Video Release
Tuesday, March 4th will officially mark six months since Sioux Falls resident Tyler Weathersby disappeared.
There hasn't been new information released to the public about Tyler's disappearance. That changed after the private investigator group Legal Eye Investigations, LLC. posted a video showing Tyler Weathersby standing at the corner of Marion Road and Madison in Sioux Falls.

The video shows Tyler Weathersby waiting to cross the street while speaking to a young boy riding a bike. Tyler also is seen approaching one driver of a silver Hyundai Santa Fe in the street. This was the first time Tyler's wife Mona Lisa Perez had seen the video. However, she explains to our partners at Dakota News Now that police with the City of Sioux Falls previously described the dashcam video to her six months ago.
“He was talking to a car and he was talking to someone on a bicycle. And if you are those people, please, can you come forward to see what he was saying to you? Okay? And even if they’re high schoolers, like, just tell your parents or something to see what he said."
Mona Lisa explains to Dakota News Now she believes more videos are being hidden from the public eye.
"This is incredibly difficult to express because my vulnerability is being mocked and used as an opportunity to create baseless theories. It’s putting my family’s safety at risk and perpetuating a false narrative that only endangers my family even more. Enough is enough.”

Tyler could truly be anywhere in the Sioux Empire or even out of South Dakota. Here's the most accurate description of what Tyler would look like today:
- "Slim build” at about 6’ feet tall and 160 lbs.
- Dark brown eyes and his head was shaved at the time of his disappearance. Possibly having his hair back and a beard, by now.
- Has a tattoo of a crown with a halo above it on his right wrist
Tyler is now 32 years old. Anyone with information on Tyler's whereabouts needs to contact the Sioux Falls Police Department at 605-367-7212 or the Sioux Falls Crime Stoppers line at 605-367-7007. You can also anonymously submit tips online.
Tyler's family and loved ones won't rest until he's home safe and sound.
