Circle the weekend of June 2 and 3 on your calendar right now. The Western Spirit and Cowboy Festival will be held nearby, in Trent, South Dakota. It's two great days filled with cowboys, cowboy music, trail rides and...well, the great Western Spirit!
Saturday June 2nd kicks off at 8:00 A.M. with the Dutch Oven Cookoff registration. The Cookoff kicks off at 9:00. (Ok, ok, my mouth is already watering)

But wait, there's more...at 5:30 there will be an auction of John Green Western Print, with a campfire concerto at 6:00 featuring members of the Red Willow Band and special guest Jami Lynn!
And don't miss Sunday, June 3rd! There's a horse trail ride at 8:00 A.M., with Cowboy Church starting at 10:00. A free will donation brunch will get underway at 11:00.
