RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Officials with United Tribes Technical College say vandalism at the school's branch campus in Rapid City won't deter the start of classes next week.

College spokesman Dennis Neumann tells the Rapid City Journal that registration and orientation will proceed as planned on Monday at the Black Hills Learning Center.

The Bismarck, N.D.-based college is opening the Rapid City branch in the old National American University complex. Officials dedicated the campus last week, and over the weekend vandals caused as much as $75,000 in damage to glass doors and windows. Police are investigating.
