CHERRY CREEK, S.D. (AP) — A tribal official says a roof of a building collapsed on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation during a storm, injuring four people.

Administrative officer Bobbi Jo Kraft with the Cheyenne River Law Enforcement Center says the building's roof came down around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Cherry Creek.

Kraft says the 40 people who were temporarily trapped inside were part of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, which was having its monthly meeting.

National Weather Service meteorologist Susan Sanders says officials couldn't confirm whether it was a tornado, and that no one reported seeing one.
