My closest friends and some of the people I admire happen to be Norwegian. So I have had a lot of fun over the years joking with them about their heritage all in fun of course.

Well, my Norwegian friends are back with their annual dinner. And it's a good one.

It's a big gathering for a fabulous dinner every year in Sioux Falls. Hundreds upon hundreds attend this event. I have personally attended for the past several years and I'm not even a Norwegian.

The Sons Of Norway Torsk and Meatball Dinner and Bake Sale is Friday, March 1 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. It is at Nordic Hall downtown Sioux Falls at 218 W. 13th Street. Just West of Phillips Avenue.

The cost is $15 for adults, $7 ages 6-12 and free for children under 6.

Advance reservation required. Call Bob at 605-743-5999.

Trust me, when you leave, you will be so full you will hardly be able to walk. And you will never see so many Norwegians in one place at once! Oh', and by the way, regarding the picture at the top of this story, this is a very rare happening. It may never happen again! Me waving a Norwegian flag!
