Things That Scream ‘Dad’

A few of us here at the radio station decided to come up with a list of things that scream "Dad." How it all got started was I'm thinking about getting new glasses, and one of my younger co-workers said I should dump the "transition lens look" - OUCH!!!!!

That's what led to us putting together a list of "Dad Things." How many can you relate to?

• Transition lens (she made me list it as #1)
• White New Balance tennis shoes
• White crew socks
• T-shirts with random company logos on them
• Cell phone belt clips
• Big and bulky sandals
• Tucked-in Polo shirts
• T-shirts with the word "Dad" somewhere on them
• Wrap-around sunglasses
• Sunglasses with lanyards
• Putting your sunglasses on top of your hat
• Fleece vests
• Tommy Bahama shirts tucked into khakis
• Black socks with gold toes
• Grilling while wearing an apron
• Four-button polo shirts
• Jean shorts
• A key chain with more than 10 keys on it
