The Most Beautiful South Dakota Church Photo You’ll Ever See
At the right place at the right time.
You've heard that phrase about being at just the right spot at the perfectly precise moment. And even then being so busy, we might miss it. We just rush right on by what may be the most beautiful scene.
Well thankfully, my friend Jerry Klumper stops, looks, and then takes a photograph.
I've published some of Jerry's photos on the website and you can see some of those right here. And while they are absolutely stunning, I think the best I've seen so far is the one below. It's the St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Elk Point, South Dakota.

No, this photo was NOT manipulated, not photoshopped, or anything like that. Rather, it's an example of being in the right place at the right time. And Jerry captured it and is now sharing it with you.
This is just one example of Jerry's photography. And while he's captured amazing images from around the country and around the world, it's the beauty that resides with us here in eastern South Dakota that has amazed me.
Jerry worked for the Elk Point/Jefferson School District for very nearly 40 years and has now retired. But thankfully, not from his photography. If you'd like to contact Jerry about this photo or his many, many others, just email him at jerry@klumper.net.
And keep sharing that beauty, Jerry!
