Hand washing is all the rage right now, you guys.

Seriously though, we've all been told to wash our hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds to help stop the spread of Coronavirus.

I don't know why, but some people might still be skeptical about the effectiveness of soap. Soap is our friend.

Amanda Lorenzo is a teacher and she has gone viral with a video she posted showing how soap really does deflect germs.

She puts pepper in water and has one of her students put her finger in the water. The pepper sticks to her finger. Then, the student puts her finger in soap and again puts it in the pepper water. The pepper is repelled instantly. It's pretty cool.

So, if for some reason, you weren't washing your hands with soap, I would hope that this changes your mind.

Let's hope that even after all this Coronavirus stuff settles down, people keep up with these 'new' handwashing habits.

Happy Hand Washing!
