The Green Bay Packers were all but buried and waiting on fill dirt just a few weeks ago at 3-6. Now, at 5-6, the playoff chances are very much tangible for the team.

All good things come to an end, and only one team can end the season on top. Augustana Baseball came awfully close to being that one team this season, but their season came to a conclusion on Tuesday afternoon at the DII College World Series.

It's been a fun season to be a Vikings fan thus far. Whether you're thinking they can go all the way or that they've been a fluky 9-2 thus far this season, the #1 overall seed in the NFC playoffs is still in reach.

It's been a much needed and hard-fought break for the South Dakota State football team. After winning in the regular season finale on November 12th, the Jacks earned the #1 overall seed in this year's FCS playoffs.

Since joining the Missouri Valley Football Conference in 2008, the South Dakota State Jackrabbit football program has had a ton of success. One small thing that was missing from that success was an outright conference title.

Augustana and University of Sioux Falls both picked up wins to wrap up the regular season on Saturday, but the late 3-game losing skids for each program were too much to overcome.
