Sydney and her family are grateful for the support and messages of hope during this incredibly difficult time.
When we moved to Yankton 5 years ago, we knew a few people, and that was it. I cannot even fathom the amount of love and support we have received, not only from Yankton but also from Nate’s hometown of Vermillion, over the past week. This really is a community that has taken us in and treated us with kindness and love, and for that, we are forever grateful. We have been blessed beyond belief, and the support of all of you has helped keep us strong during this time. We are also so thankful for Heidi and her team who have worked tirelessly with answering all our questions and helping us navigate through this tough situation. We still have a long way to go on our path to citizenship, and we will continue to do what we need to do the right way. We want to send a thank you to all the people who lent a hand or a listen, shared money or a story, and were patient with me throughout the whole process.
Nate and Sydney Samudzi have felt love from their community in Yankton and around the Sioux Empire. She shares that Nate is continuing the process on the path to citizenship.
A family is reunited. That's the only thing that matters. Remember... family is forever through good times and bad.
