Retail Workers in ‘Jingle Bell Hell’ This Time of the Year
We've all heard the phrase "too much of a good thing is bad for you" - well, apparently that also pertains to Christmas music.
According to an article in the New York Post, one-quarter of American retail workers say their holiday spirit is dying because of all the Christmas music.
Soundtrack Your Brand, which is a streaming service for background music, recently conducted a study on the subject.
They found that more and more retail workers say being forced to listen to Christmas songs all day is damaging their emotional well-being.
According to the study, having to listen to Christmas music non-stop is actually increasing stress among retail workers.
