The Presentation College Administration and Board of Trustees have decided to close the school's location in Sioux Falls after more than eight years.

The Sioux Falls social work program will be moved to Presentation's main campus in Aberdeen.

The Presentation officials say the board determined that based on a number of factors, it was in the best interest of the college to close the Sioux Falls location, which was opened in the Spring of 2006.

They cited declining enrollment, recruiting challenges, and the cost of running the social work program at an off-site location.

The Sioux Falls location will close effective September 1, 2015 after the students have completed their teach-out plans.

Three of the four students are scheduled to graduate in the spring or summer of next year.
