In 1981 Neal McCoy won a talent contest (sponsored by Country Star Janie Fricke) and with that win, he secured himself a spot as the opening act for one of the biggest names in the history of Country Music.

Now, Neal pays tribute to his mentor with a new album called 'Pride'.  The first single from the album is Neal, with help from fellow Country Star Trace Adkins, singing the Charley Pride classic 'Roll On Mississippi'.

Here they are on-stage at the Grand Ole Opry singing that great song.

Oh, and of course, be listening for it on AM1000 Classic KXRB and KXRB.com.
