
One of The Nation’s Most Wanted Fugitives Is Hiding in Minnesota
It takes a lot for someone to be one of the most wanted fugitives in the entire, and one could be anywhere in Minnesota.
The FBI just announced the "Most Wanted Fraudsters" they're currently looking for. One of these fugitives does include a Minnesota resident.

His name is Said Abdullahi Ereg. The FBI are offering a $150,000 reward for any credible tips or information on Said Abdullahi Ereg's whereabouts.

Said Abdullahi Ereg is originally from Somalia who ran a local grocery store and deli just south of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Officials with the FBI explain Said Abdullahi Ereg was involved with a "fraud scheme that exploited the Federal Child Nutrition Program during the COVID-19 pandemic."

Said Abdullahi Ereg is wanted for his alleged participation in a fraud scheme that exploited the Federal Child Nutrition Program during the COVID-19 pandemic. Those involved obtained, misappropriated, and laundered millions of dollars in program funds that were intended as reimbursements for the cost of serving meals to children in need. Ereg ran a grocery and deli in south Minneapolis, Minnesota, which was enrolled in the Program under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future. Between April of 2020 and April of 2021, the grocery and deli fraudulently claimed to have served over 1.4 million meals to children and received more than $4.2 million in payments from Feeding Our Future for purportedly serving meals. Ereg allegedly transferred most of the money to fund his family's lavish lifestyle. He also allegedly transferred money to foreign accounts controlled by foreign companies
Said Abdullahi Ereg's federal arrest warrant was issued in January of 2024. This Minnesota fugitive could be anywhere in the Sioux Empire or beyond.
