Michigan Man Wins $4 Million for the SECOND Time

They say lightning doesn't strike the same place twice.  They also say you have a better shot of being struck by lightning than you do winning the lottery.

Well, let me introduce you to a Michigan man who, not only won $4 million in 2017, he just did it again!

With this kind of luck, he better not be outside during a thunderstorm.

Mark Clark of South Rockwood, Michigan told lottery officials that his feelings were "hard to put into words" after winning a $4 million prize from a scratch-off ticket for the second time.

Clark bought a $150,000,000 Payout scratch-off ticket for $30 and used a coin that holds much sentimental value.

"I scratched the ticket off in the store with a coin my dad gave me about 10 years ago. We lost him about a year ago after some health struggles, and I can't help but think maybe that lucky coin helped me win this," said Clark.

Imagine his surprise seeing he had won another $4 million after winning the same amount just three years earlier.

Clark acknowledges the chances of winning twice are slim by saying, "You don't think you'll win millions once, and you definitely never think it would happen twice."

What are Clark's plans for this new jackpot?  Pretty much the same as the first one.

"After the first win, I retired from my job and spent a lot of time fishing. My dad and I always used to fish together and have great memories of that, so this will help me keep fishing and enjoying time with my son and family," he said.

Clark chose a lump sum payment of $2.5 million rather than annuity payments for the full amount.
