Join KXRB’s Annual “Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon” This Week

This Thursday, September 30th and Friday, October 1st are important days for all of us here at KXRB. For two days, we are going to go beyond the music and into the lives of so many great kids in the Sioux Empire.

What makes these kids so special? Well, they are facing "bad guys" that you and I can’t possibly even imagine. These kids are battling cancer. Words that parents never want to hear.  That's why KXRB is stepping up to help their fight during the annual "Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon."

We are once again proud and honored to partner with the Sanford Children's Hospital for the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon. On Thursday, September 30th and Friday, October 1st from 6 AM to 6 PM each day, KXRB listeners will be hearing inspiring and heartbreaking stories from kids and their families who together are battling cancer. These stories are real. They will provide a glimpse of what these families are facing every day.

The Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon is such an important event for the people at the Sanford Children's Hospital.  This two-day event benefits many of the families whose health care provider is the Sanford Children's Hospital.  Whether it's for specialized equipment, teachers and therapists, wigs, or meal tickets, all dollars remain in the community and assist where there is a need. The foundation would not be able to support these families if it was not for the generous financial contributions of the residents of the Sioux Empire and beyond!

Your phone call will help these kids fight the "bad guys." Your continued monetary support is really life-changing for the kids and their families.
