There's two things I love about Jamey Johnson.

1) His songwriting and singing, and

2) His respect for the history of country music.

I've always admired the songwriters, those artist who can not only craft a great story in words and music, but can actually paint a picture in your mind. Jamey Johnson does just that, and rather than list the great work he's done over the past dozen years, just let me say that 'In Color' is my favorite song of this century so far.

And as for the respect of the genre', well, do yourself a favor and pick up his Living For A Song: A Tribute To Hank Cochran album. Sit back, crank it up and take a trip with Jamey and his friends. It's what I call 'Wow' good.

And now's your chance to see this great singer/songwriter in person.

Jamey will be at The District in Sioux Falls Thursday, November 16 at 8:00 P.M. Tickets for the show go on-sale Friday, October 13 at 10:00 A.M. sharp.

Do yourself a quick favor while you think of it. Put a reminder on your phone (or if you're my age, a post it note where you see it everyday) to get those tickets. You won't regret it.

And beginning Friday, October 13 at 10:00 A.M. you can get your tickets here.
