Car thieving statistics are sharply on the rise. According to the FBI, motor vehicle theft hit a double-digit jump since 2022.

Of course, we can tell you to lock your cars but thieves are crafty rascals and can usually find a way to jack your wheels before you can say "Son of a biscuit!"

To unpack data, the FBI needed some sources. They went with two: The Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI) and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). Combining both sets of data, the 8 most-stolen vehicles on the the road todays are:

1. Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat (2020-2022)
2. Dodge Charger HEMI
3. Infiniti Q50 4dr
4. Dodge Challenger
5. Land Rover Range Rover 4dr 4WD
6. Full-sized Chevrolet Pickup (2004, 2006 and 2000)
7. Full-sized Ford Pickup
8. Honda Civic

Looking at the list, Dodge seems to have the most problems with the anti-theft system. Or, thieves simply love to drive a Dodge. After all, the Hellcat is a pretty sweet ride.
