March Madness is upon us once again, and being that both the South Dakota State men's and women's teams are in this year's tourney, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has released a brand new Jackrabbits bobblehead figure to commemorate this special occasion.

Fans were able to get their first look at these new officially licensed bobblehead figures on Thursday (March 21).

Each SDSU bobblehead will feature a blue and yellow base, with the South Dakota State Jackrabbits logo in the background. Standing on the base is Jack the Jackrabbit, flexing his muscles, and wearing his #1 SDSU basketball jersey.

The new commemorative SDSU bobbleheads are limited to only 2,024 and will sell for $35.00 a piece, along with a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

Jackrabbit fans can pre-order their bobbleheads right now, however, they won't be shipping out until later this August.

As far as the games go, Dakota News Now reports the 15th-seeded men's team tips off tonight, Thursday (March 21) when they take on 2nd-seeded Iowa State at 6:30 PM in Omaha.

The 12th-seeded women’s team will snap into action this weekend as they take on 5th-seeded Utah on Saturday night starting at 9:00.

As expected, a large crowd of rabid, SDSU Jackrabbit fans are predicted to make the trek south to Omaha for Thursday night's game.

Best of luck to both the Jackrabbit men's and women's teams as they attempt to advance during this year's NCAA Basketball Tournament.
