RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — An investigation that began with a complaint into an improperly parked camper in Rapid City turned into a drug bust.

Rapid City police who were called to help municipal code officers with the complaint found a plastic bag in the camper that appeared to contain illegal drugs.

The discovery led to the arrests of three people, including a 19-year-old woman who ran off after giving officers a false name. She was found hiding in water in a drainage ditch.

The Rapid City Journal reports that the occupant of the camper and the owner the property where the camper was parked were also arrested on drug charges.

It's not clear whether the three suspects have been charted.
