Harry Potter At Home Review
I'm a pretty big Harry Potter fan and when I heard that there would be readings of the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone, by 'familiar voices' I was excited, to say the least.
The seventeen chapters in the first book were all read aloud by many famous Harry Potter actors and actresses. My favorite chapter was chapter one since Daniel Radcliffe the Harry Potter actor himself did the voiceover. Radcliffe was made to play the role of Harry Potter if you ask me.
But I listened to the chapters as they came out on Spotify. You can become apart of The Harry Potter Fan Club if you wish by clicking HERE. And I think they are more than worth your time to listen to if you're a Harry Potter fan.
Listening to the chapters as they were released made me want to grab my copy of Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone and sit down to read it with the audio portion of Harry Potter At Home.
If you have a child who is in grade school and is just learning how to read then I think this would be a great starting point!
Plus on the Wizarding World website, there are several activities and quizzes that young readers can participate in to continue the magic after they have stopped reading a chapter.
Currently, only the first Harry Potter book has been read aloud in this fashion. But I hope in the future they continue this with the other six books in the series.
