It was December 2011 when Joshua Lambrecht, Kevin Anderson, and Dr. Daniel Swets, three men who shared a passion for family and education for all children, were on their way to a FIRST LEGO League practice competition in Rapid City. The pilot of their chartered plane, Brian Blake, was a soft-spoken man who loved flying and was a respected leader among his peers. Less than 2 minutes after takeoff the plane crashed near Sioux Falls and there were no survivors.

As a memorial to his son and the rest of these men, and to continue supporting the great work of the SDRA (South Dakota Robotics Association), a partner with FIRST LEGO League, Mark Lambrecht and his family are sponsoring the Family Fun Carnival. It is happening this Saturday, July 26th from 11 am to 6 pm at the South Dakota Robotics Association building at the corner of 49th and Southeastern.
