I can guarantee you that some stores will have Christmas decorations and lights up in the next two weeks.  It's crazy to even think about when Halloween hasn't even occurred yet.  Thankfully, I am not the only one feeling this way.

There are only a number of days left until the bitter cold and snow enter the Sioux Empire.  These are the last days of enjoying the outdoors, like going to the park or taking care of last-minute yard work.  By yard work, I mean some people might start decorating their house for the holidays.

I am one of those people who can't stand to hear Christmas music before Thanksgiving Day.  I want to enjoy time with my family, watch football, and eat my turkey without the pressures of Christmas lingering over my head.

Since Mark and I have been discussing the future forecast this week, I was curious to see if anyone will take advantage of these last few nice days to decorate their house for the Christmas season.  Here is what our listeners had to say:

  • Turkey Time please: 60
  • SANTA!! CHRISTMAS TIME!: 9

My lights are customizable so they are up year-round. They have colors for each holiday. But before I had those I would put them up in October or November while the weather was nice. Yard decor can wait until Thanksgiving weekend."

"AFTER Thanksgiving. I was always taught to be thankful first, and it's stuck for 50+ years."

Be thankful 1st!!"

I'm glad our listeners are on the same page for this one! Do you agree?
