Classic Country Saturday Video Of The Week

It was country music Hall of Famer Tom T. Hall that "discovered" the talent of Johnny Rodriguez and brought him to Nashville.

Johnny played in Tom T.'s band for a couple years and they wrote a number of songs together. When the time was right, Tom helped Johnny get his first solo recording contract with Mercury records.

And the rest, as they say, is country music history.
