Charley Pride Releases New Album ‘Music In My Heart’
OK, admit it.
You've turned up 'Kiss An Angel Good Mornin' about a hundred times and sung along with the legendary Charley Pride. Yep, it truly is one of the greatest songs in the history of country music.
And now, all these many years (and many, many hits) later, the Pride of Country Music is back with brand new music! And he's sounding as good as ever.
Music In My Heart, the new Charley Pride album, has just hit stores (July 7). And believe me, you'll love what you hear. 13 new songs form the Country Music Hall of Famer, including some that you may recognize.
Charley puts his great 'Pride' sound to the Tommy Collins penned classic 'New Patches' and the great Merle Haggard classic 'The Way It Was in '51'. But really, each song on the album is just as good or better than the one before it! A personal favorite is 'Make Me One More Memory'. And you can't go wrong with a song written by Bill Anderson, which Charlie does on the album with 'You Lied To Me'.
At 83 years young, this proud son of Mississippi sharecropper's still commands your ears (and heart). If you've missed the Pride Of Country Music, pick up Music In My Heart today.
And crank it up.
