Charley Pride Featured On KXRB This Weekend

One of Country Music's all-time great entertainers is featured this week on Jim Ed Brown's "Country Music Greats" on Classic Country 1000 KXRB.

Charley Pride, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, first came to national attention in the 1960's. First considered by some to be a "novelty act" in Country Music, Charley soon became one of the biggest hit makers in the history of the genre.

Although is signature song is most certainly "Kiss An Angel Good Morning", Charley has amassed well over 20 #1 country hits, beginning with 1969's "All I Have To Offer You Is Me".
